Relying on the billions of pieces of corpora data accumulated over the past 45 years, GTCOM has independently developed the world's leading multilingual neural network machine-translation platform. This platform has in turn facilitated reliable machine translation in 50 languages and 2,500 language pairs. The machine-translation performance of many language pairs—such as Chinese-English, Chinese-Russian, Chinese-Spanish, Chinese-Portuguese and Chinese-Korean—is now unsurpassed. In the 14th International Workshop on Spoken Language Translation (IWSLT2017), GTCOM ranked first in 16 of 20 language pairs in the multilingual pair competition, thus demonstrating its dominance in the field of machine translation.
GTCOM's technological capability, as expressed in its development of machine translation, has attained success in a variety of excellent products. GTCOM can deploy machine translation software offline in customers’ working environment, thus basing machine translation on private cloud to ensure absolute isolation from extranet. Through local and private-cloud deployment, users enjoy exclusive and customized machine translation engines, have faster access to the machine translation system, and connects the translation data to their own data centers, better ensuring security.
GTCOM can build seamless connections between local data centers and the cloud data platforms of relevant enterprises based on specific customization requirements so as to better adapt its services to customers’ needs for functional extension and ecosystem building.
