Mr. Wu and other delegates put forward their views and expectations on the applications of scientific and technological means in the publishing field. The two parties discussed the various ways to integrate and apply GTCOM's artificial intelligence technology so as to elevate the quality of topic selection and maximize the efficiency of Modern Press. Additionally, they explored ways to reuse book-data resources, the dynamic management of translator resources, the monitoring of project progress and the prediction of content risk.

Thus, Mr. Yu gave a detailed introduction to related products and applications. He explained that GTCOM's machine-translation and artificial intelligence technologies are applicable to a wide array of scenarios.

Book Translation

In terms of foreign-language book translation, the machine-translation service platform independently researched and developed by GTCOM for publication translation can fulfill a series of functions such as machine translation, review and editing, project management, corpus data management and team management. With the help of this platform, the translation and publishing of foreign-language books can be completed efficiently.

Topic Selection

Topic selection was highlighted as an area in which the two parties can promote synergy in the selection of publication topics, academic research and editing. With reliance on the Language Big Data Alliance (LBDA), it is possible to establish a new path for integrated development among the resources of publication and experts while also building a platform for new technologies.

Applications of Book Data Assets

When it comes to data reuse, the two parties can build an internal data-resource library. The library can not only be used for machine translation engine training in specific fields to improve the efficiency and quality of book-oriented machine translation, but also achieve the quantitative analysis of book data to amass publication data assets on a large scale.

Translator and Project Management

As for translator and project management, the publication-translation service platform can be used to match and recommend team members based on the characteristics of a given project, assess task progress in real time, monitor the quality of translation and effect of translators at any time, quickly identify emerging problems, control translation quality and strengthen overall project management.

Research and Judgment of Book Content Risk

In regard to risk prediction, the two parties can jointly build a risk-oriented early-warning knowledge base to identify, label and warn of potential risks in the import of books based on knowledge graphs together with the technologies of semantic retrieval and analysis.

Mr. Yu introduced the company's R&D achievements in the fields of patent search, technology discovery, value evaluation, smart city and other research data analysis, fintech, and industrial Internet based on machine translation, big data and artificial intelligence technologies. Additionally, he described the applications of audio/video technology in virtual images and digital reading products.
