GTCOM Signs a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with SUMG News Press to Jointly Build a "Life-Consumption Big-Data Laboratory"

Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (GTCOM), in the afternoon of July 23, 2020, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai United Media Group (SUMG) News Press to jointly build a "Life-Consumption Big-Data Laboratory." Huang Zhijian, president and deputy secretary of the Leading Party Group of China Publishing Group Corporation, and Qiu Xin, secretary of the Party Committee and president of Shanghai United Media Group, together with other leaders, attended the signing ceremony. Eric Yu, vice chairman of GTCOM, and Huang Qiong, secretary of the Party Committee and president/general manager of the News Press, signed the agreement on behalf of each party.

The "Life-Consumption Big-Data Laboratory" is one of the projects of the Lin-gang Innovation Industry Research Institute to be jointly built by the parties. Its primary focus will be in-depth research in life consumption, using big data and artificial intelligence technology to develop scenario applications that provide insights on customer needs, advertising and communication efficiency analysis, brand management, and analysis of the upper and lower segments of the industrial chain. Thus, it will serve the purposes of enterprise product marketing and industrial innovation and upgrading.


The respective parties will also establish a news information identification platform to provide customers with information services; through the integration of big-data analysis and business consulting and reporting services, they will track and analyze the big data of daily consumption, and tailor the Consumption Index Research Report for enterprises to help governments and enterprises understand consumer preferences through multiple channels, and create more value for strategic decision-making, new product planning, user operation, precision marketing, market planning and public relations in times of crisis.

The parties will therefore capitalize on their mutual opportunities as they use their respective advantages to deepen strategic cooperation in terms of consumption data analysis, brand influence analysis and urban livelihood data analysis as the means to empower consumption upgrades and corporate development.
